As another successful #YouthGolfWeek2026 comes to a close, we’d like to thank everyone who helped celebrate junior golf this past week. While the social media campaign may only last a few days, our commitment to introducing the next generation to the game continues every day of the year.

At Tidewater Golf Club, we believe one of the best ways to grow the game is by making it easier for families to play together. That’s why we’re proud to participate in the Play Golf Myrtle Beach Kids Play Free program, allowing kids 16 and under to play free year-round with every full-paying adult.

It’s a simple program with a powerful purpose: creating lifelong golfers by making the game more accessible for young players.

Celebrating Youth Golf Week with KemperSports

As a proud KemperSports property, Tidewater joined more than 140 golf courses across the country in celebrating Youth Golf Week 2026.

This annual initiative is part of KemperSports’ commitment to #MakeGolfCool and #LetsAllPlay – encouraging more children, families and first-time golfers to experience everything this incredible game has to offer.

Throughout Youth Golf Week, KemperSports facilities hosted junior clinics, family golf experiences, beginner instruction and fun events designed to make golf less intimidating and more welcoming for everyone.

At Tidewater Golf Club, kids ages 16 and under play free all year long with every full-paying adult.
