Tidewater Golf Club is a public course, proudly welcoming daily fee players, vacationers, golf groups, and locals. We also offer exclusive memberships with added benefits for local residents and property owners.

No. Private golf carts are not permitted anywhere inside the gates of Tidewater Plantation or on the golf course. All guests and members must use the course-provided golf carts for play and transportation on property.

All tee times can be booked online at tidewatergolf.com. Booking online guarantees the most up-to-date availability and best rates.

While we do accept walk-ons, we highly recommend booking in advance. Tidewater is a busy course and often sells out, so reserving ahead—either online or by calling us—is the best way to secure your spot.

Tidewater Golf Club is primarily set up for 18-hole play, but we do offer limited 9-hole availability during select times of day, based on course conditions and demand. Please call the Golf Shop at (843) 913-2424 to check for same-day or next-day 9-hole tee time availability.

Acceptable Attire:

• Shirts: Collared shirts (polo-style) are preferred. No tank tops or cut-off shirts.
• Pants/Shorts: Golf shorts, khakis, or athletic shorts are acceptable. Avoid denim. 
• Shoes: Golf shoes, athletic sneakers, or spikeless golf shoes are best. Avoid sandals, flip-flops, or boots.
• Hats: Baseball caps or visors are common. Wear them forward.

 What to Avoid:

• Gym shorts or sweatpants
• Tank tops or muscle shirts
• Flip-flops or open-toe shoes
• Extremely ripped or baggy clothing

No, outside alcohol and personal coolers are not permitted on property. In accordance with South Carolina state law (SC Code of Laws Title 61, Chapter 4, Section 61-4-110), guests are prohibited from bringing outside alcoholic beverages into any area of this establishment.

We offer three convenient on-site food and beverage options for your enjoyment:

1. Bogey’s Grab-N-Go, located near the Golf Shop and Bag Drop, opens daily at 7:00 AM and is accessible when making the turn between holes 9 and 10 as well as 18 and 1.
2. Our on-course beverage cart circulates throughout the day to keep you refreshed during your round.
3. Joey’s Clubhouse Grille, our full-service public restaurant, opens daily at 11:00 AM and is the perfect spot to relax before or after your round.

Yes! Joey’s Clubhouse Grille is a full-service public restaurant located inside the clubhouse at Tidewater Plantation. Public parking is available, and guests are welcome to enjoy a wide selection of scratch-made meals, weekly specials, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Yes! We offer Bogey’s Grab-N-Go, conveniently located near the Golf Shop and Bag Drop, and easily accessible when making the turn between holes 9 and 10 or 18 and 1.

Bogey’s opens daily at 7:00 AM, offering quick bites and beverages perfect for keeping your round on track. Choose from breakfast sandwiches, cold and hot lunch options, energy snacks, and a full selection of beer, liquor, soft drinks, and specialty drinks like High Noon, Celsius, and Arnold Palmer Spiked. Closing hours vary based on play, but if you’re out on the course, the team ensures they stay open until you’ve made the turn to the back nine.

 Our 2026 aeration will take place from the afternoon of Sunday, August 2 through Sunday, August 9. The course will reopen on Monday, August 10.

Yes! Our public driving range is open 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (hours vary seasonally). Range balls are included with your round or may be purchased in the Golf Shop.

To keep the range in top condition, we close it on Tuesdays from 10:00 – 11:00/11:30 AM for maintenance. For the best experience, we recommend practicing between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or after 3:00 PM, as the range is busiest before rounds begin. During peak times, priority is given to golfers with a tee time over public range users.

Please note:

• The front range is open to the public and members.
• The back range is reserved for private lessons or clinics with our PGA Professionals.

We ask for cancellations to be made at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled tee time.

Absolutely! Juniors age 16 and under play free year-round with a full-paying adult, making Tidewater a great place for families and beginners.

We also offer premium Callaway rental clubs. Supplies are limited, so we recommend calling us at 843-913-2424 in advance to reserve the set you need and ensure availability.

Each player is required to have their own set of golf clubs while on the course. If you arrive without clubs, premium rental sets are available through the golf shop. Please inform our team at the time of booking or upon check-in if you will not be playing and are joining the group as a rider only. In such cases, a $40 rider fee will apply.

We aim to keep rounds at 4 hours and 45 minutes. With 8.5 miles of cart path, forced carries, and a challenging layout, maintaining pace ensures everyone enjoys their round.
