Will you buy the next generation Titleist’s AP1 and AP2 irons?
Have you heard they are the most forgiving clubs on the market at their respective head sizes. It’s easy, of course, to boost forgiveness by building a bigger head. However, Titleist’s goal is to maintain a size that’s easily maneuverable, appeals to the eye and feels solid.

The new AP2 714 long irons, for example, have a lower center of gravity and produce a slightly higher flight than the AP2 712s. Whereas, the new AP2 short irons raise the center of gravity and improve feel creating shots that fly on a lower, more piercing trajectory. Based on the above information would you need the AP1 or AP2, short or long irons based on your current level of play? My shot consistency makes this a difficult choice but I think AP1 Long Irons would be the right choice for me.
